My Story in home studio recording, mixing and mastering

 My name is Sylvain Rochon, and I am the owner of SYTA Production, the organization responsible for this website. My journey in music commenced at the age of four when I began playing the drums. By the time I reached my teenage years, I was part of a band and was acquiring skills in additional instruments such as the guitar, bass, and keyboard. Shortly thereafter, I began to sing and compose my own songs. 

Back in the era of 4-track cassette recorders, I got one and began recording. When computers became capable, I got my first DAW and recorded my first album. It sounded okay, but the technology was limited back then.

In 2020, following a hiatus of approximately 15 years from music, I purchased my first MacBook, which included GarageBand. This marked the commencement of my contemporary journey in recording, mixing, and mastering. I became captivated and immersed myself in acquiring knowledge about home studio recording, ultimately transitioning to Logic Pro.

 Today, following numerous hours dedicated to learning, experimenting, and encountering setbacks, I have released my music on digital platforms. You can find my song "Sing a Song" featured on the homepage of this website. Goals can be reached; all that is required is a desire to learn, and you too can attain similar outcomes, or I am available to assist you.
