My Story

My name is Sylvain Rochon.  I'm the owner of SYTA Production that owns this website.  My musical journey started at the age of 4 playing drums.  At my teenage years, I was playing music with my band and started to learn how to play other instruments like guitar, bass and keyboard.  A short while after, I started singing and writing my own songs.

Being in the audio 4 tracks cassette time, I got myself a 4 track recorder and started my recording journey.  When computers were fast enough to be used for recording, I got my first DAW on which I recorded my first album.  Sounded ok I must say but the technology was what it was for that period in time, very limited options.

In 2020, after not doing anything musically for the past 15 years or so, I purchased my first MacBook that included Garage Band.  The modern day recording, mixing and mastering journey began.  I was hooked and so into learning everything about home studio recording that I upgraded to Logic Pro.

Today, after tremendous hours of learning, trials and so many mistakes, I was able to publish my music on digital platforms like my song "Sing a Song" that you can listen to on the home page of this website.  Goals are reachable, all you need is the will to learn and you can achieve the same result for yourself or I can do it for you.  

One important note!  Look at the picture of my studio.  You don't need much to record, mix and master your music.  Can it really be more simple than that ?  K.I.S system you say!  My home studio is fully functional and I love it.
